Configure Migration Server

The CipherTrust Manager uses pdbctl as the migration server. Refer to pdbctl document for details.

To configure migration server:

  1. Log on to the CipherTrust Manager GUI.

  2. Click Database Protection to open the application. The Databases screen displays the list of existing database connections, if any.

  3. Click the desired database connection.

  4. Click the Migration Server link and enter the following details:

    Fields Description
    Host IP address or host name of the machine where pdbctl in installed. Refer to pdbctl document for details.
    Port Port on which the migration server will come up.
    NAE User CipherTrust Manager user wih access to keys.
    NAE Password Password for the CipherTrust Manager user.
