This section lists errors which could possibly occur when creating, restoring, deleting and listing backups.

Action Error Information Possible Cause Remediation
Create Backup Async backup or restore operation is in progress, cannot create backup There is already a backup operation in progress. Please wait for the ongoing operation to get complete.
Create Backup Error creating default backup key for account (<VALUE>) with scope (<VALUE>) Possible reasons:
• Storage crunch in the system.
• High CPU utilization or memory crunch due to large number of memory intensive operations.
Please free up some space, restart the appliance and retry. If problem persists, please contact Thales Customer Support with a copy of the syslog.
Create Backup Error setting backupkey (<VALUE>) as default Storage crunch in the system. Please ensure that the disk space is available.

Download Backup Cannot download backup during an async operation on same backup There is an ongoing operation using the backup. Download will have to wait. Please wait for the ongoing operation to get complete.
Download Backup error creating download packager for <VALUE> to client Storage/ Memory crunch in the system. Please ensure that the disk space is available.
Download Backup error uploading file for backupid <VALUE> to client The download package could not be read for upload. Possible reasons:
• High CPU utilization or memory crunch due to large number of memory intensive operations.
Reboot the appliance and retry. If problem persists, please contact Thales Customer Support.
Delete Backup Error deleting backup directory Possible reasons:
• Backup has already been deleted so backup directory does not exist.
• The system is not in sane state.
Please check if the backup exists. If it exists, please reboot the appliance and try again.

Restore Backup Error restoring database Connection to the database failed or the schema creation for the database (which has to be restored) failed. Possible reasons:
• Storage crunch
• Databse Service is down because of the high CPU utilization or memory crunch due to large number of memory intensive operations.
Free up some space. Reboot the appliance and retry. If problem persists, please contact Thales Customer Support.
Restore Backup Could not start databases after restore High CPU utilization or memory crunch due to large number of memory intensive operations. Reboot the appliance and retry. If problem persists, please contact Thales Customer Support.
