Creating Character Sets

To create a character set:

1. Open Application Data Protection.

2. In the left pane, click Character Set.

3. Click Add Character Set.

4. On the Create Character Set screen, enter/select the following fields.

   Field	Description
   Name	Unique name for character set.
   Encoding	Encoding technique used. Possible options: — UTF-8 — UTF-16LE — UTF-16BE — UTF-32LE — UTF-32BE — ASCII — ISO-8859-1 Note: DPG only supports UTF-8 encoding mode.
   Unicode Character Range	Range of Unicode characters in HEX format. Multiple ranges and combination of single HEX digits separated by a comma are allowed. A few examples of Unicode Character Range are: — Digits: 0031-0039 — Greek: 0370-03FF — Combination of Greek and Digits (separated by comma): 0370-03FF,0031-0039

5. Click Create. A message stating, Character set created successfully is displayed and the newly created character set is listed on the Character Sets page.
