Managing BDT Policies

A BDT policy contains all the information required to perform a batch operation. It is contains details of source, destination and protection policies assigned to each column.

To create a BDT Policy:

1. Log on to the CipherTrust Manager GUI as administrator.

2. Open Application Data Protection.

3. In the left pane, click BDT Policies. The list of BDT Policies is displayed on the screen.

4. On the Batch Data Transformation Policies page, click Add BDT Policy. The Create BDT Policy wizard is displayed. Follow the steps to complete the setup.

Add General Info

1. Specify a unique Name for the BDT policy.

2. Enter description for the BDT policy.

3. Turn on the Case Sensitive toggle.

4. Turn on the Create Bad Record File toggle to create record of failed operations.

5. Click Next to go to the Add Source Details screen.
